Bitcasaのデータ移行
Bitcasaから唐突にメールが来ました。
曰く
A Better Bitcasa
All files must be transferred by November 15th.
We have been hard at work building a faster, more stable Bitcasa cloud storage experience for you. But we can’t just flip a switch. In order to keep our zero-knowledge encryption in place for your account, you will need to take the following steps to complete the update:
1) Log in to your account from the web
2) Click to automatically transfer your files
3) Download our new Bitcasa apps
IMPORTANT: you must complete this process by November 15, 2014 or your account and all files that have not been transferred will be deleted.

なんだかゼロ知識云々とかよく分からん言葉ですけど、要するにデータを新しい場所に移すから、手続きを取ってねと、言うことらしい。
その手続きは
１．ブラウザでBitcasaにログインする
２．移行の手続きを開始する
３．新しいアプリを落とす
という感じ。
ブラウザで今までのBitcasaにアクセスすると、移行手続きの案内がでかでかと出ますので、後は手続きに従えばOK。
ID・パスワードなど新しく設定するので、新しいサーバー用にアカウントを一個作るような感じ。
その後新しい方のURLが案内されるので、ログインして、「ダウンロード」からクライアントアプリをインストールすればOK。
ただ、容量によっては移行に時間がかかるようで、サーバー側の処理だからクライアント側はひたすら末だけなんだけど、その間はBitcasaが使えないので要注意。
アプリのインストールをし直すと、古いBitcasa（WindowsではBitcasa Infinity Drive）にはアクセスできなくなり、新しいBitcasa（Bitcasa Drive）に変わるが、こちらもサーバーの処理が終わるまでアクセスできない。
僕の場合は１時間ほどで終わりました。（使用量100GB弱くらい）
Bitcasaは価格が魅力なんで、安定して使えれば文句ないんだけど、Dropbox的な使い勝手の良さも上手いことミックスしてくれると良いんですけどね。（今の利点は殺さずに）
